At ISK Zaanstad, we follow three young people; Anhelina, Tasneem and Hamed who express themselves through art, cooking, sports and poetry in their search for identity. As they build new lives, memories of their motherland continue to shape them. Through a mix of documentary, stylized images and animation, their inner experience becomes visible and palpable, making the film not only a portrait of migration, but also of resilience and self-discovery.
